Tribal member Tammie Bettis, who recently completed the tribe's employment training program, was hired by the tribe as the new social service assistant.  Tammie will be working with the tribe's director of Social Services to transport needy citizens to necessary social service appointments such as trips to the food bank, Social Security, tribal TANF, Humboldt County Department of Health and Human Services Social Service, General Relief, Calworks, and food stamp offices.

Tribal citizens within the tribe's service area may contact the social services director, Michelle Vassel to make transportation appointments.
