Brand new to Soulatluk? For basic vocabulary and pronunciation, start here.
NEW (Fall 2022): Interactive Soulatluk mini-posters
Several years ago, the Tribe created a small set of basic vocabulary "mini-posters" that local educators could print & display in their classrooms.
Recently, with generous funding from the ANA for language curriculum development, we have been expanding & improving these mini-posters to include a greater variety of vocabulary and phrases, along with updated QR codes that link to audio for practicing pronunciation.
Members of the Tribal community, educators, and others with an interest in learning Soulatluk are welcome to print and display these posters in their homes, classrooms, offices, or public spaces. However, please do NOT reproduce them in any publication or website without the Tribe's written permission!
These posters are 12x18 inches when printed at full size; however, they will print on letter-sized paper as well (be sure to select Landscape mode and "Fit" in your print menu).
We will be adding more posters as we edit & complete them, so check back often! (Members of the Wiyot community: if there is a content area that you would like to see made into a mini-poster, please let us know!)
Virtual Soulatluk classes (live & recorded)
Videos of past classes are linked below, with the most recent at the top.
If you would like to join us for an upcoming online Soulatluk class, check the community calendar for times & a Zoom link! This month (September) we'll have just one class, on Wednesday, September 20 from 4-5pm PST...but please double-check the calendar link in case of any last-minute changes.
As always, contact Lynnika if you have any questions!
