[ARCHIVED] Wiyot Council Approves Wiyot Tribe Approves COVID-19 Emergency Aid Grocery Store Gift Cards

Loleta— 06/09/2020 —The Wiyot Tribe applied for the COVID-19 Emergency Tribal Nations Grant and received  $219,400, the grant provided funding for each Tribal Citizen to receive a $300 Grocery Store gift cards to purchase Food and Hygiene supplies, and masks and hand sanitizer.   

The Grocery Store Gift Cards will be purchased and mailed to each enrolled Tribal member (enrolled by June 08, 2020) at $300 each.  Tribal citizens can select a Grocery store preference if form is received by the Tribal office no later than June 22, 2020.    A Walmart gift card will be mailed to all Tribal citizens who do not submit a form by the deadline.   No application is required.  However, if you would like to select a Grocery store from the list of options below a Selection Form needs to be received by the office by 4 pm on June 22, 2020.  

    The Social Service Advocate will collect and process all Emergency Aid Grocery Store preference forms as received.  Forms may be emailed to, faxed to (707) 733-5601, or mailed to 1000 Wiyot Dr., Loleta, CA 95551, or dropped in the drobox outside the tribal office.  Gift cards will be mailed approximately two weeks after the preference form deadline.
