[ARCHIVED] 2022/23 California Natural Disaster Assistance

The Wiyot Tribe Health & Human Services Department has a new page with tips, programs and referral programs to help you and your household before, during and after a disaster.

Also, due to the December 2022 Rio Dell earthquake and the January 2023 California cyclone, there are two programs which can offer financial support for those impacted by these natural disasters.

NCIDC Emergency Assistance

In response to the 2022 December Rio Dell earthquake and the January 2023 California cyclone, Northern California Indian Development Council (NCIDC) announced financial assistance to help income-eligible American Indian, Alaskan Native and Native Hawaiian households in California with the cost for small repairs, food assistance, temporary shelter, and similar health and safety-related issues.
