Very prominent throughout the Northwest Coast, Transformer stories are stories where transformations happen in the World. They include transformations of gou'wil (people), jechach (animals), and lughurruk (land). In Soulatluk, these stories include monster-slaying adventures of tricksters and teaching of mores and folkways that are deeply rooted in place.
